Europe's biggest circuit party is back again for their 5th anniversary. This year is set to be epic with huge international DJ's and events ranging from the famous Water Park part in Isla Fantasia to what we think will be a mega party in the Palau Sant Jordi which can hold 20,000 people!!

Over the years we've worked long and hard to try and get our clients the best holiday apartment possible. What we've found is that our clients are looking for sea front apartments ... and why not since you've come to Mediterranean, you want to see the sea!

We've got a beautiful building of three sea front apartments each with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (except for the penthouse w/ one bathroom). All are furnished with super-king sized beds and equipped with all of your Holiday Apartment needs. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of what we're talking about ;)

Since the Ribera Apartments fill up quick, we also have another building just minutes from the famous Sitges church. They range from 1 bedroom apartments to 3 bedroom apartments. These apartment range from modest apartment's right up to luxury living at its finest.

Whether you're going to celebrate NYE at home or abroad we at Sitges and Barcelona Holiday Accommodation want to wish you all the best in 2012!! This past year the world's had its ups (Spain winning the world cup) and downs (Fukushima) but we still have persevered. So bring on next year because we want to prove the mayans and their doomsday prophet is a farce!!!

- to nog or not to nog that is the question! -

          

             

            

Many of us each year look forward to the holiday season for more than one reason... and its not for the gifts.... It's for the egg nog!!! Now nog is kinda like marmite... either you love it or you hate it... and ladies and gentlemen I can tell you one thing... I love it!!

Nowadays it seems like things have changed... now there's genres from non-alcoholic to versions with southern comfort.... where the hell have i been for the last 6 years... under a rock I guess....

so who's up for some nog... I've found this great traditional egg nog recipe to try over the holidays!!

Traditional eggnog recipe at its best!

Traditional Eggnog Ingredients

12 eggs, separated
6 cups milk
2 cups heavy/ thickened cream
2 cups bourbon
1+ 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup brandy
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

Traditional Eggnog Directions

In a large bowl and using a mixer, beat the egg yolks together with the sugar for approx 10 minutes (you want the mixture to be firm and the colour of butter).
Very slowly, add in the bourbon and brandy - just a little at a time.
When bourbon and brandy have been added, allow the mixture to cool in the fridge (for up to 6 hours, depending on how long before your party you're making the eggnog).
30 minutes before your guests arrive, stir the milk into the chilled yolk mixture.
Stir in 1+ 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream with a mixer on high speed until the cream forms stiff peaks.
In yet another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture.
Gently fold the cream into the egg mixture.
After ladling into cups, garnish with the remainder of the ground nutmeg.

Serves: 8.

The kings of Californication come to Palau Sant Jordi for those who didn't really like Rihanna and her nana we have Flea and the rest of the boys from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers giving their all on their current European Tour. That is truely one of the best things of Barcelona, it's that there's always something going on... whether it be rock, funk or jazz no one can complain in BCN about not having their fair share of music!!!
